today was a nice day thou,

went to a cafe in TST called sth like "our wonderland world" sth
a nice hang-out place, fairly spacious and stylish , u know that kind of "young-liked" stylish.
good to have a "soda cream + milk" with nice wedges on top with minced meat. thats quite fun

cheese cake wasnt too good, not worth trying.
enjoy the time with Daphne, hang around in TST, sth that i havent did for a long long time
came across an old classmate , quite embrasses thou...

nite nite got a surpising call , those skype one, from the cold netherlands,
get in chat with 2 frds, shuyan and kit,
it was pretty good , we chat for an hour. i havent been so out-spoke after they left....
missing the frds out there.

i think i really having no more extra interests on architecture....
hope i can get through this bloody 2 yrs.............. n do what so ever i like soon

Fancy Fever

yesterday was a fancy night fever.

reading Tea magazine, there's a special column talking about the history of Takara Mak,
i was very happy, cos i did think he is great start from scratch.
and i feel honour i was in contact with him when he start his career.
he is still a great man last 5-6 yrs in cultural circle in hk, ( well pls forgive me not using "trendy")
hoping hoping, one day, i can join his team................

Thanks for your note. Yes, I was to have been over in HK this week but my wife has been very ill. She had a heart operation two weeks ago. Luckily it went well but I am now looking after her and so I have had to put my visit off until she is better.

I would love to know how things are going in MArch1. I hear there is to be a new dean but no sign of my post being filled.

I see the chairman of the city planning committee for the studio tomorrow about parmission to build...wish me luck!

Macao is the real Macau

Today went to Macau for one whole day, very exhausted....................
visiting the site, walking around the San Ma Lo, near the seaside part.
wandering wandering and i was being spotted by a prostitute hotel...(as i was alone)
shocked!

after site visit, Mr Siu and I went to Sando, gamble (big.small) play 3 games, and break even
but the place is real scare and out-scale.
wondering, y human being can develope this kind of activities?

Feel good that quite a number of ppl appreciate my new tee design!

Today CI lecture guest is Lau, Sai Leung , 劉細良. He use Thai creative metaphor as an example to explain how China lack creativities. and how's Korea situation compare to Thai,.
as its cantonese speaking,.,,,,,,,,,,,,, i need to translate the lecture in English to those student dunno cantonese...
was very PANIC to me...........thought i think my performance is pretty okay!

Came Across

i am lazy, very lazy, especially for the studio design.
discuss so many many times with mates.
is it the fault of the tutor or is it our fault being not up to standard?

some other ppl said, most students in hong kong lack confident. are we really in this case?
are we lacking the ability to analysis things as well?

last year this week, i was in london.

and in October, I first arrive in london.

Dizzy Day

today was a dizzy day, cloudy covering.
delivering my brother's goods to post office takes me the whole morning.
but i starts running again since i back from shanghai.

at last, i have finished all my scanning in working unit!! Yeah!

every monday and wednesday, i went to the 7-11 in Wyndham St. as I wanna buy sth from the stupid shopkeeper. seems she starts recongise me.
but today she was not there, i guess she is only on afternoon shift.



my drawing book finally arrive the moleskine exhibition in taiwan 101 page one. ,.....
if u pass by taiwan, pls go there (exhibition until the end of this yr)... its easy to find.
there should be only one book without profile! that's me!

Heard that the exhibition was very well-received in taiwan media, i feel very pround to be one of the participants though.

watched a movie called "Steamboy" by a japanese animation director.
Story wasnt that complicated. basically it discuss the dilemma of technology development, in humane sense. and uncover whats went on behind the world expo (100 yrs ago). the movie was too short that cant relate too many things. but the topic he choose is immensely complex.
anyway visually, it did a good job.!!. (a film for boyyyy)

daniel liberskind is the highlight, but i prefer two side tracks,Ole from OMA and Rocco Yim.
liberskind is being too "ghery-like" these yrs, its really not worth going to listen his 20000 times talking his WTC "master planning"


Ole is my recommendation. Graduated in AA, working as Rotterdam OMA director now. He is another partner involving the CCTV project. Been to his lecture in london, he was good in explaining ( well promoting) OMA and was being quite humble. and i dun mind i attend the 30000 time lecture about CCTV anyway.

everyday i set my alarm at 8 or sth, and then everyday i wake up exactly 3 hours later. I hate myself about what i want and how i actually act.today my moleskine sketchbook will finally arrive taiwan101 pageone for the "my moleskine" exhibition. Later will appear on east touch as well.
